Jazz FM presents Mica Paris with special guest Rozalla Miller
The UK’s Queen of Soul is back and doing what she does best! This year has seen Mica release her first original studio album in ten years and embark on a nationwide tour meeting fans old and new and reminding her millions of TV fans what first put her in the public eye twenty-two years ago.
Mica’s a little nervous after all this time though: ‘It’s like walking through Tesco’s doing your weekly shopping... but naked,’ that’ how Mica has described the experience, going on to say: ‘It’s strange going back out there after all this time, I’m asking myself ‘can I still do this?’ But I love doing the shows. I love being out there and when I open my mouth this voice comes out and does what it does.’
Mica’s new album ‘Born Again’ was released on June 1st. The album’s been produced by the legendary hit-maker, Brian Rawling, who’s recent single ‘Broken Strings’ for James Morrison and Nelly Furtado was number one worldwide.
This show will see Mica performing songs old and new and promises to be an exciting evening at the Jazz Cafe. With special guest Rozalla Miller ‘Everybody’s free’ performing a new soulful jazz interpretation of the massive 90’s dance tune plus tracks from her fantastic new album ‘Brand new version’ and Jazz FM DJ Ralph Tee it’s a night not to be missed with the World’s Biggest Jazz Station... Jazz FM.
